I installed a hidden camera in my store because products started disappearing in a strange way: and what I saw shocked me

Owning a small grocery store was my lifelong dream. I built it from scratch—no investors, just hard work and heart. Over time, my staff became like family. We’d weathered tough times together, and I trusted them completely.

So when fruits started disappearing—bananas, mangoes, pears—I was confused. I thought it was a stocking error. But the missing produce added up, day after day.

I asked my employees, and they all insisted they weren’t taking anything. They were so sincere, I started doubting myself.

Still, something didn’t sit right. So one night, after closing, I secretly installed a hidden camera.

The next morning, I watched the footage… and nearly dropped my phone.

It wasn’t a person at all.

It was a monkey.

A real monkey, sneaking in through the back door like it owned the place. It tiptoed through the aisles, sniffed each fruit carefully, rejected what it didn’t like, and happily munched on its favorites—bananas, pears, even tried to crack open a pineapple!

When a staff member passed by, it hid behind boxes, then went right back to snacking once the coast was clear. It had been doing this daily.

The next morning, I waited by the back entrance—and sure enough, there she was. She looked at me, clearly unimpressed I’d caught her.

I offered her a banana.

Now, Fru-Fru the monkey doesn’t need to sneak around. I leave her a little fruit each day, and in return, she keeps my store visits entertaining.

Turns out, the “thief” just had a great taste in fruit. 🍌🐒💕
